Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonless nights once found Zac wandering in the forest. Any who saw him would find themselves not remembering the next day.

Zac has a dark secret. He was discovered shivering, claiming to be abandoned. They were welcomed into Elders warmly. But these were no ordinary hatchlings. They were Creor, spies for the Creorluna clan. The first was Ace, who later betrayed them.

Zac was their leader, assigned kill Ace. So Zac became friendly with him, playing his part so well Ace treated him as a brother. The problem was, not only did Zac secretly feel the same, but he fell in love. With Ace's sister Anna. When the time came to kill Ace, he tried. And he almost succeeded. But he was distracted by Anna, who pleaded for her brother's life. While he was distracted Ace retaliated, ripping Zac's whole right wing and most of his tail off.

However Zac survived, bearing wounds for punishment. Now he lives against Creorluna. He betrayed the other Creor, eliminating them. But it isn't over.
