Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Faire la Paire, or simply Lala, is an extremely talented dragon. She was nicknamed 'Lala' because, well, it is derived from her name, and because of her amazing singing ability. Lala was gifted with a voice that would make angels envious. She sings lullabies to the hatchlings and even holds a concert every weekend for the clan's entertainment. Whenever an occasional lost traveler ends up in the cave, Lala sings to them, and after hearing her, they would often want to stay with her. Every dragon alive is enchanted by her saccharine voice.
