Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A carefree and relaxed soul, Key enjoys nothing more than to lie back and let the currents take her wherever they please. However, she does have one little quirk; if she spots a shipwreck, she makes a beeline for it and spends many hours combing through these wrecks, in search of valuable treasures.

But personal greed isn't what motivates these treasure hunts, as a wanderer like her has no need for material possessions that would only weigh her down. Instead, once she has gathered a satisfactory pile, she carries them to a location some distance from the coast and stores them there, for unlike most of her deep-dwelling kin, she does not mind going to the shallows more than normal.

Then, at rare but very specifically selected intervals, she carries these treasures to the surface and passes them on to the waiting Cave Mother and whichever dragons are accompanying her. From there, these treasures are distributed amongst the clan.

Key truly loves her clan, even if she rarely sees them.
