Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Her name means "Precious Little Child" in Japanese, since she's amazingly lovable and friendly. She loves to sing, dance, fly, and take long baths. She was adopted by Ketnaro and Kiyomi, since no one knows who or where her biological parents are. She is best friends with Suzume, Tenryu, and Hotaru, and has been for a long time. Hotaru had professed his undying love for her many times, but she'd always told him that even SHE knew that drakes and dragons don't mix. She thought that she'd have to find another OchreDrake in order to have a family, but she eventually realized that it didn't matter, she loved Hotaru. They became mates on a beautiful day, just as the sun was rising. They make a very odd couple. He's much larger than her, and is a very bright dragon. She's tiny, and like all Drakes, is just a little simple. It doesn't matter though, they love each other, and always will. They're soul mates, no matter how weird that may seem.
