Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lynx was named by her parents when she came out of her egg with tufts of fluffy feathers on her hatchling ears, looking absolutely adorable. Lynx was never above milking her adorableness for what it was worth as a hatchling and even now as a massive, fully grown young dragoness she knows that she makes a cute and fluffy first impression on most dragons. Since Lynx has a fluffy personality that complements her looks perfectly, she is well liked by her clan mates as well as any travellers she encounters.
