Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

This little dragon will not be found tugging Santa's sleigh when the reindeer are out with sniffles, nor be found making toys. He can't be seen baking cookies with Mrs. Claus, either. This might lead some to believe this Christmas dragon does nothing to aid in preparation for the grand day, but that's far from true.

Rather, he has a very important job; he flies high into the air, the northern lights winking and reflecting off of his scales, and serves as a guide for those who are lost. When the northern star is hidden by clouds, the special sparkle of this friendly dragon shines through, helping others to find their way home. His loyal dedication to his task, even on the coldest of nights, has earned him many a special treat from Santa. The elves, reindeer, and Mrs. Claus are all equally fond of him, and are in the habit of spoiling him with cookies. On clear nights when the star needs no aid, he trots along after his daddy Pepperkick, chirping happily when he plays with him.
