Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bonus Aureleus used to belong to the Metal Clan since his father is a Golden Wyvern but he left the clan long ago because his heart lies elsewhere. His mate is Amans Osculans—a Valentine dragon—and so Bonus chose to become a part of the Holiday Clan. Another reason for that is that he looks up to Elatus Argenteus, the Silver dragon who is of the clan's leaders. Elatus has taught Bonus all he knows and Bonus perceives the Silver both as a friend and as a fatherly figure. With Elatus gone and with the Sect of the Seven getting ready to attack them, Bonus has to use every drop of bravery he has within himself in order to protect everything and everyone he loves.
