Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems rather lazy.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

At least once a month, many of the Royal Crimson breed in EG's Cave play a game called "Find that one little hatchling in the forest". That's right, this young one always seems to think it is rather funny to run off and get lost in Arakiahoga Forest. Because of his small size, he nearly gets eaten or harmed each time he pulls such a stunt.

Though the always find him, and some think that the whole incident is a game, not many Royal Crimson dragons like him much.
