Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Courteous to a fault, regal in bearing, and possessing no small trove of gold, it's little surprise that this dragon came to be known as the Lord of Blackwood, when he took to living there. At his bidding a marvelous mansion was raised by unseen hands deep within those woods, and he has lived there ever since, waiting with gentle words and gifts of treasure for those who come to see him. And oh, how many come to see him! They come in like troves of butterflies, and he greets them all, smiling. They never notice that all the moths fluttering around him are black. They never notice the red light with which his eyes burn. They never notice the strange sounds drifting up from a cellar that digs down, down, down into the dark.

And the people of the town never notice that none who visit him ever come back.
