Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s hard to see it in the dark, except for the glowing eyes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SpiritWardBaby is a little Spirit Ward Dragon hatchling who likes to startle her hatchling friends. She is too young to glow, like her species can, so she can easily blend into any dark shadow. Even though she isn't very old, she has mastered the trick of veiling her thoughts; effectively hiding her thoughts from nearby dragons. This means that SpiritWardBaby can jump out at dragons, and her owner, scaring them. Of course, doing this trick on an adult always leads to a lecture...
