Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aja was born on a cold night in the middle of the desert. Her parents, who had been cast out of their group due to accidentally killing another dragon's child, had been forced to hide away. In her first few years, Aja was never allowed to leave the cave, but whenever she could, she'd go to the entrance to watch the sunlight. Her peace didn't last, as one day the mother of the killed hatchling found their hiding place. Blinded by her sorrow for the ones who had taken her child away, she attacked Aja's parents and finally went for Aja. But as she looked into eyes as golden as the sunlight she couldn't harm the hatchling. All hatred suddenly left her heart and she was finally able to find peace within herself. Aja left the cave that day and never turned back.

She is still out there in the desert somewhere. With a bit of luck, one will be able to catch sight of her, shimmering in the sunlight as she dances her lonely dance in the air. She was given the name Sunniva: a gift of the sun.
