Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Most of the other hatchlings felt remorse when frozen. Some of them were angry, others were sad, some just accepted it and led normal lives. For little Steve, it was just a bundle of confusion. He was found, nearly dead, inside of an abandoned nest in the woods between the Republicator-Separator Border--and was taken into the Separator clan soon afterwards.

When asked why he won't grow up, little Stevie has a unique description, which he says in his soft hatchling voice. "Imma charging mah Christmas powah!" He will then wander off and try to spread Christmas cheer to all of the other dragons, his little voice ringing out like a a bell amongst the caroling and talking.

"Hello! Would you like to sing with me--imma charging mah Christmas powah."
