Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Fiven was abandoned as soon as she was laid, kicked out of the warm cave with her parents in it, and kicked into the dangerous outside world. Fiven's egg was small and malformed, with lumps and bumps all over the surface. Her egg was what probably got her throw out; no one wants a sickly egg to take care of. Luckily for Fiven, a white dragon was passing by and picked up the egg to see if it would hatch. Fiven hatched just fine, and to this day the white dragon can find nothing wrong or different about her. The white dragon speculates that Fiven was shunned from her family because of the fear from a superstition saying that the rare fifth egg in a clutch will be small and ugly, but it will hold extraordinary amounts of evil. No matter how hard she tries, Fiven cannot get the thought out of her head that she is evil, and it plagues her even in sleep. Lately she has just given up trying, and just does what the voices in her head tell her to do.
