When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Talise's black eyes are as unknowable as the darkest ocean trenches—just like Talise. She is the quiet observer in any group. Bound to the water, she has grown to be bound in silence. If a stranger confronts her, she'll quietly slide back beneath the water; if its a flight-mate, she may shyly duck her head, but she will remain somewhat visible.
Still, once a dragon enters her wet world, she can be rather playful, in a bashful sort of way. She's very generous, bringing up treasures from the sea in her mouth and making gifts out of them for dragons that she particularly likes or wants to befriend. She takes pride in her findings, and will get upset only if one of her precious treasures is mishandled.
The one dragon that has managed to get very close to her is, surprisingly enough, Master Seraphim. While the relationship is not physical, he is still probably her closest companion. They can frequently be seen lounging together in the shallows.
