Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Melanterath WindRise (after the gemstone: Melanite) joined the clan cave as its 131st member, carried by The Clan Mother like so many before him, wrapped in kindness and compassion. It is said that her unyielding faith and belief of the inherent goodness of all dragons encouraged him to break free of some of the stereotypes of his kind, turning instead to a kinder and gentler disposition. There can be no doubt that he has a ferocious temper, which stirs quickly and dies slowly, yet he seems at peace within himself and with the world around him. Similar to others of his kind, he possesses a remarkable control over the wind and weather, and is capable of calling upon the most horrific of gales. Thankfully, he refrains from doing so except under the most dire of circumstances, when danger threatens the clan or any of its dragons. Rather than engaging in physical confrontation, he prefers instead to let the wind rise up and sweep his foes far away from those he calls friend.
