Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems rather lazy.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Adopted by Kinga Dagmara and Little Adamastor, his egg was found rolling from a volcanic slope into the vicinity of their castle. He was carefully tended to by the couple, who were shocked to discover that he was born in perfect condition. After that, he was treated as adoptive brother of Mauris Flamma and the two began to get along very well.

Lazy and complaining, Rufus usually acts like a spoiled brat and is aggressive to others that are not of the family, but in the end he is a great little dragon when one starts to know him better. Although he is the younger, he actually is stronger and heavier than his brother, and generally when play-fighting he is the one who wins.
