Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Mercury was destined for greatness, but due to tragic circumstances will no longer be able to form into its complete and grown self. It was upset at first, dismayed by the fact its future was torn away from it, but now it has learned to love who it is.
