Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This small dragon's full name is used to be "Macadoodles Munchface". This name was given to him by his adopted parents because he was the most annoying and loud dragon in a cave full of insane, loud, and annoying dragons. Sadly, after much debate, the elder dragons in the clan decided this name was cruel and unusual and decided to change it to suit his strange resemblance to the famed food dish that is his current namesake. After his name change, this small dragon hasn't spoken to the other dragons and appears to be strangely withdrawn. No dragon can explain why.
