Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Starling is a bit of a mixed bag. He seems to share most of his personality traits with his father, Crow, typically being characterized as isolated and brooding, which is true but not entirely true. It's no secret that most all of the Blackwing children tend to peel away into their own groups, seeing how they have been neglected by their mother: Heron, Flamingo, and Pelican is the most prominent example. Well, Starling tends to be closest to Balance, the eldest brother in the family. Balance, too, is isolated and often sticks it alone, but Starling quite likes being around him. This quiet duo will often stalk others together and observe the goings on of their home from the shadows. Starling does tend to get more bored with it, though, and will usually end up asleep next to Balance whenever they do anything together, which happens to work fine, too. Starling doesn't want to burden others, rather he just wants to offer his presence if ever it's needed. He'll stick with quiet dragons.
