Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Caffrey is a rather vain member of his clan. He is obsessive over his looks, avoiding anything that may damage his scales and meticulously cleaning them every few hours. Caffrey avoids fighting of any kind, preferring a more peaceful environment, although he has no trouble defending himself. He appears to other dragons as arrogant and stubborn, and in some cases timid, but he simply ignores this. He has an eye for anything that shines, and hoards golden items and gems of all shapes and sizes. While he spends a fair amount of his time alone to pursue his own goals, sometimes he disappears to tend to his mate, Ninlore. He brings her the best gems of his hoard with every visit, which she then decorates her cave with. Caffrey normally avoids venturing into caves, as the darkness hides the true luster of his scales, but he always makes an exception for his mate.
