Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Crow" in Japanese. He is one of Jiro and Kazumi's sons, and was raised alongside his sisters Xinme and Kuroi-Yimei. He is a very sweet dragon, especially for a Black dragon. He loves playing with hatchlings, and hanging out with his family. He is one of the more powerful magic users in the colony, and likes to use his magic to help others. He is mated to Kaida, which is funny since he is huge compared to her. They met at a gathering of Striped dragons, Karasu saw this tiny blue female who was absolutely stunning. He was a bit worried that she wouldn't like him because he's not a Striped dragon. But once they started hanging out with each other, they quickly fell in love. They are mates now, and couldn't be happier. They love each other so much, and they always will.
