Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

SweetDayGlory is a pretty little Day Glory Drake. She's adorable and she knows it. SweetDayGlory uses her cuteness to her advantage. Though all of her race are friendly, she tries to be even friendlier. She tries to get some of the best foods that humans can offer, because SweetDayGlory will climb up a human and aims for a hand or shoulder. She tends to grab their attention and hold it, so they give her all their treats. She is really good at spotting who has the yummiest food.
