Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tulvir Bedelth appears to be a violent and an intimidating dragon even though he means well. His aggressiveness appears to be a front; he is actually innocent, naive, and clueless. Tulvir has awkward social skills due to a traumatic incident that happened during the time when he was a hatchling. When he was young he got attacked and betrayed by a dragon he thought was his friend, he got ambushed by a rivaling clan. Since then, Tulvir became unable to properly communicate with his clan members except for when he's with his best friends Vollenth Askook, Ummi Umbra, Hill Dhebar and Alecia teal. Despite appearing like a pessimistic cynical dragon, he is actually the contrary. Aside from being passive aggressive and violent he is unpredictable and sometimes does not think before he speaks. He impulsively does what he pleases. When it comes to relating with others he is still clueless most of time, but is persistent and doesn't give up easily. He is also fiercely protective of his friends.
