Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Reinecc (Ren-eck) is commonly referred to as "pterodactylus" for the pterosaur-like sounds he makes. He has a gentle, respectful, and all-around likable personality, even though he tends to act a little out of his species. For example, he tends to shake his head side-to-side or throw his head back with a snort, imitating a horse. Some people complain about the racket he often stirs up; he'll tilt his head up, sit back on his haunches, and swing his jaws open and shut with a hollow 'clack'.  But outside of that, he is considered to be a very kind-spirited dragon and a very good animal for first-time dragon handlers.
