Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Cave Mother". Pango may work for Rnachllac but that doesn't make her as evil as him, even though she did help enslave all of that Ember dragon's troops. She could have been worse though, Pango could be like Weusi Ajali, killing whoever he had to keep a eye on.

She was put in charge of watching Kali, one of the Vampires in the Night Raiders. It came to Pango that this Vampire dragon was something special; he was well mannered and didn't seem to mind her company unlike the other dragons in Scorch-Blood. In short, Kali made her feel important, always coming back with meat every night, even telling her things like how beautiful she was had been enough to make any dragon swoon.

Gradually Rnachllac had been kind enough to give leniency, allowing Kali the freedom of wandering from his prison to visit Pango whenever he wanted. Usually after dark Kali visits her and they go off on a walk. Even if they can't produce any eggs, Pango is loved and loves Kali all the same.
