Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The acting second in command of the Jingle Lads, a group of dragons who collect naughty dragons and feed them to a monstrous beast in order to keep their own village safe. While Doe, the group's leader, keeps everyone nice and jolly and on brand, Elf handles the management side of things. He has a fair bit of OCD and lives by systems and calculations, in fact, the group's entire annual ritual was his idea. He works with ratios and estimates to ensure as few dragons as possible are taken each year because he himself doesn't even agree with the ethics of their actions and wants to minimize the damage done. He does spread a good bit of cheer, too, and really enjoys working with Doe and the other lads, but he knows what they're doing is wrong, even if it's the only thing they can do. So he tries his hardest to make it not right, but less wrong, even if he's aware that doesn't count for a lot. He's definitely the most intellectual of the lads and the most adept at problem solving.
