Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Danette is a fiery dragon who enjoys using magic a little more than is entirely healthy. She is sharp-witted, but sometimes acts too quickly. Some dragons see this as a weakness, but those who enjoy life and don't spend time thinking about it find her alluring. Though she doesn't remain faithful, the males who court her are the ones who understand that a dragon's life is too long to be spent with only one mate. One such dragon, known as Elpidio, had a brief fling with her before moving on; such is Danette's lifestyle.

This dragon uses magic almost exclusively, seeming to never run dry. Her raw power has enabled her to move giant slabs of rock to form an exceptionally large lair, where she stashes her treasure. This lair is situated on the top of a hill, so she can have a full view of any interlopers on her sizable territory. She isn't automatically offensive, but she does demand a tribute or a fight from every sentient creature she comes across. None have managed to best her yet.
