Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lilac-Rose is a happy and playful little hatchling.  Her mother, LavanderLace, loved her so much that she wanted to keep her with her forever and had her enchanted so she would never age.  Now Lilac-Rose spends most of her time laying in the flower covered meadows with her mother and older sister, LavanderCrack.  She always brings a smile to her mothers face with her cute little antics.  Her best friend in the clan is <br/>Little Snow Bueaty, one of the clans other frozen hatchlings.
