Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kawenai is a female Red Dragon. She's been known to love anything shiny or sparkling. Coins of any kind, metal, gems, jewels, anything that shines and sparkles. She hides her hoard of treasures in a cave, like any common dragon who love treasure. She is fiercely protective of her treasure, and any who dares to steal even the smallest bit of her treasure shall be hunted down aggressively until the missing treasure is recovered. Her pack, of course, are the only ones she trusts enough to look at her treasure, and even guard it whenever she goes off to hunt or anything that has to make her leave. When not guarding her treasure, Kawenai often flies about, searching for more treasure to add to her collection, or helping keep the eggs warm, due to her being constantly warm.
