Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kaggi is the most infamous dragons in the whole clan, not because of her position in the war but of her general mannerisms. She is generally a shy and secluded dragon, hiding away from others in fear. However, when she was younger, a juvenile dragon gave her a small rock that glowed a shadowy spectrum when in the moonlight. This juvenile was Angakuit. From that moment, Kaggi stuck by his side constantly, rarely talking to other dragons. Soon, she became obsessive over him. The moment he began to take his own path and leave her when they matured is the moment that her obsession took a turn for the worst.

Never once has any female gotten near Angakuit, for Kaggi uses her magic to baffle them and transport Angakuit to a far away place. A few times, she has stolen sleeping herbs from the Shaman trio to put Angakuit into a deep sleep so she can cuddle next to him. She gives him sweet dreams so he will not be alarmed.

They later had a child, whom Kaggi guards with her life.
