Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gold Fever is an outgoing young dragoness.  She delights in parties, group outings and family gatherings.  On the rare occasions that several caves groups meet for a gathering and sharing of news, you can bet she will be the first volunteer, and the last to leave. She is also an excellent warrior, when she has to fight, but she would much rather be having fun.  She is fascinated by Golden Rule, and can not understand how he can spend so much time alone.  She wants to offer him friendship, believing the only reason for wanting to be alone is that you have no friends, but his distant manner keeps her at bay.
