Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Jhaer can't even seem to muddle through a simple illusion spell without something going wrong (and a dozen repetitions of the same spell will generate thirteen different failures), nor does he seem to care about his failed spells or the harm they might have caused. He's regarded as a nuisance at best, if not potentially lethal. Few seem to realize how much skill it takes to get a spell to misfire in an amusing and generally harmless way even once, let alone in a different manner every time it is cast. What might appear to be a dangerously haphazard approach to magic actually requires more focus and dedication than would be required for the same spells when correctly worked.
