Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skye is quite a mystery, as most daydream dragons are. However he's more withdrawn from the other dragons than most of his own kind; he seems to value time on his own quite a lot. Due to not interacting with others all that often and not really discussing these things when he does, the reasons for this are mostly unknown. Although occasionally he will mention a little something in passing that gives a little insight into his inner thoughts and who he is.

From what he does share it seems he's very intent on bettering himself, always reaching higher and obtaining the dreams that most only keep to themselves in their greatest fantasies.

He seems to enjoy daydreaming a lot himself and can frequently be found with his head in the clouds figuratively as well as literally. Skye has a real passion for flying and is very much at home in the celestial sphere, fitting to his name; there's nothing he loves more than soaring through a bright blue sky full of fluffy white clouds on a sunny day.
