Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sir Hamish is very proud of his old and renowned family and his pure black heritage. He is named after his great-grandfather's best friend and like the rest of his family he is very, VERY keen on tradition.

There's only one problem: Hamish was the first dark-black dragon that was ever born into his family and his parents disowned him and sent him away as soon as it became clear that his odd colouring would stay that way. For a while Hamish was taken care of a group of whites lead by Florence Drake, who told him the basics of the healing art while he stayed with them. When he grew older Hamish became restless and sought out thrills wherever he could until Florence brought him to the leader of her whole clan the black dragoness Fumee.

Since then Hamish has lived and fought with the other blacks sometimes acting as their field medic to help out until the whites arrived.
