Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Summer Wishes watched the children play from her seat under the tree. Their game consisted of hitting a ball on a rope around a length of pole, using two bats to hit it back and forth. Every time a child failed to hit the ball, they handed their bat over to one of the children waiting nearby. Funny things, humans were.
Wishes stretched and laid herself out in the sun, intending to soak up as many of its rays as she could, but something cold and wet hit her side.
Looking round, she saw one of the older boys holding a handful of wet rags and grinning at her. She knew how this game went, the idea was to get the other player as wet as possible. Well she could do that.
Darting forward she grabbed the young lad and hoisted him up into the air. Ignoring his protests, she threw him bodily into the stream, where he got soaked from head to toe.
The other children laughed as they helped pull him out and Wishes returned to her spot under the tree, pleased with the simplicity of her victory.
