Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Ottara is a not-so-intelligent dragon, but he can be a real party starter indeed. He loves to start parties on a busy street, and leaves the party when everyone's frown turns into a smile. However, he hates summer the most because his stash of dragon treats always start to melt.

Ottara loves to sing. Even though his 'singing' sounds more like growling and rage, to other dragon's ears it sounds like art. However, he can start singing in the worst moments, for example, during a test.

Ottara was oftenly teased by the wild dragons because he 'looked like an otter'. That gave him his name, and now, he is very confident and doesn't care being called a otter. Ottara says that he is 'proud to be one'.
