Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Volatyle is a creature of the night, and his cries are said to be omens of doom. Being a rare specimen with a valuable lineage, he chooses to not show himself to humans in fear of getting killed for prize. However, he will often playfully fly above their villages on nights where the moon can not be seen and roar to invoke terror. During days, he prefers to spend his time diligently protecting the hatchlings and eggs of Prince's clan, while mischievously fighting the other dragons he deems to be worthy. He considers Prince to be more so an ally than a master, and they share deep respect for each other, and thus Prince considers him in his highest ranks of his clan. Volatyle, though mostly fighting and causing chaos for fun, will not hesitate risking his life to protect the entirety of Prince's clan, and refuses to have a mate so he can focus on his duties of sharpening his skills if he's ever truly needed to battle.
