Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Midsummer's Delight was given his name because of his love of the season he was born into. If he could control the seasons, he'd make it summer all the time. The sun's golden rays dapple the green and pink trees, casting dancing shadows on the forest floor. Midsummer trails through these forests, daydreaming about a world where summer was all year round, and laughing and enjoying the summer as much as he can. Lying in a field of golden and pink flowers, staring up at the clear blue sky and watching the occasional fluffy white cloud pass by is one of Midsummer's favorite pastimes. There is always a distant look in his eyes, as if he belonged to another universe, but he's just lost in his own wonderful thoughts. But when he's not dreaming, he is rolling in the fresh green grass, as bubbly as ever, and laughing as loud as he can. Animals come to join him in his summer delight, and he welcomes them. He's rarely seen in the cave- only in autumn and winter and the start of spring.
