Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Azuritepool is a very gentle and somewhat wise dragon. He loves studying the stars and if he had the chance he would look at the stars forever. One time he found love with an older dragon. Her name is Aythamist Dawn. They breeded once and had a Blue Royal Dragon egg. Aythamist Dawn wasn't sure if she was ready for an egg so she gave it up to Azuritepool. Sure, Azuritepool was sad that the Aythamist Dawn didn't want the egg but he understood that she wasn't ready. They egg soon hatched and she was named Shaffirestar.
