Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ivy Kissed looks like a winged white fawn with green paws, green horns, and a green-tipped tail. She loves to run through snow covered woods pretending that she is a secret agent. One day, Ivy was silently playing in the snow when she overheard a conversation. Midnight Wiles was telling her handler that she wanted to retire from being an undercover agent. Excited, Ivy inched closer, wondering how she could sign up for such a fascinating job. Just then, her bright red eyes must have given her away because Midnight and her handler suddenly looked her way and moved to pin her down. "Please! Sorry! Let go!" was all Ivy managed to say. Then she explained that she wouldn't tell anyone, but really wanted to help. Midnight decided to trust her and said that she could use some backup. Ivy was so excited that her life as a real spy was finally underway.
