Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This female hails from a line of copper dragons that, for one reason or another, found silver dragons to be irresistible. Continuing this trend herself, she spurns the courtship of all other males and devotes her days to seeking out her perfect mate. Some believe this obsession is the result of an old legend that surrounds her ancestors. The tale says that a silver dragon once saved the life of a weary copper dragon, stranded at sea by a storm, by using his light to guide her safely back to shore. The love that grew between the two was so powerful that it was destined to continue in for generations to come.

Should the female be told this theory, she laughs and says that, no, she just finds silver dragons fascinating (and handsome to boot). When not busy looking for one, she spends her time assisting her tribe in rearing orphaned younglings, a job for which she has an even stronger affinity than is usual for her already naturally paternal breed.
