Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Murina Liea is a powerful member of her clan. Although she appears calm and collected throughout when communicating, in battle she becomes a wild, dangerous opponent. She uses brute strength and her large claws to attack, but her true danger is her "Berserk" form, which uses the power of the sun. The intensity of how bright her eyes glow measures how close she is to becoming berserk. When berserk Murina's claws shifts shape and produces a white aura which serves as extra blades. Murina grows bestial, with glowing eyes, sharp scales, and bared fangs. Her strength and speed increase greatly, and she will rapidly slam her tail into the ground, producing shockwaves. When she lashes out with her claws, it will leave a wake of blue flames. The disadvantage of Murina berserk form is that she tires fast and has to sunbathe in the sun a lot for it to make it possible. Murina is usually noted for her relaxed and elegant demeanor. She stand out with her distinct slanted cyan colored eyes.
