Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

StarCrossedLover is a romantic Nebula Dragon. She wants to find her soul mate, so she is constantly mentally with HandsomeHeartseeker who runs a match-making business. StarCrossedLover is very lonely, she sees all of her friends with their mates and hatchlings, and wishes for that happiness they have as a family. StarCrossedLover was raised in another cave, and hasn't made many friends in her new cave. She came back to her current cave because her grandparents live there. StarCrossedLover felt that no one in her old cave was right for her. She hopes that she will be luckier at finding her one true love because there is a matchmaker in her new home cave.
