Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Candescurr is a small yet aggressive Gray dragon who is an excellent fighter. Because of his skill, combined with his aggression, he poses quite a threat to any opponent and will not hesitate to attack anyone or anything he considers a threat. In fact, he has attacked several human settlements in the past and was unfazed by any attempt to stop him. Fortunately for the humans, he eventually grew bored of sending hurricanes and storms their way and moved on after several weeks to another area. He is also wary of other dragons and will rarely meet them very kindly or calmly, if at all. Like all Gray dragons, he is a superb flier and spends much of his time in the air. He only enjoys chasing fast and nimble prey that pose a challenge to catch, and when he brings the prey back to his den to eat, he will often drop it and dive down to catch it merely for the fun of it. He will talk to eagles and other birds of prey but will not hesitate to attack them should they bother him.
