Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Princess Thora is a dragon-child of the Pseudo-Royal Hall, a clan of superb wannabes. She is one of a gaggle of frozen hatchlings residing in the Hall, watched over in their rough-and-tumble pursuits by forever patient Queen Varda, stoic King Duarte, and comical King Lucio. Thora is a terrible mischief maker; she delights in sneaking up on other hatchlings, or even full-grown dragons, and shocking them with her electrified tail. Thankfully, she doesn't have enough power to incapacitate anyone, only annoy, but she has still gotten into trouble countless times.
