Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling was forced out of its egg prematurely.

Boo Boo is a quiet little dragon baby. She is named so because she kept crying when she was really little. Boo Boo wants the other dragons to call her Bo, but they don't listen. Bo is the first baby of Pure Beauty. Bo doesn't know who her father is, because Pure Beauty never told her, and the other dragons don't know. Bo hates it that she never grew up, and that is why she is always wandering around alone. Pure Beauty told her that she will get younger brothers and sisters, but that takes time.
