Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. TheDreamer heard this tale from a woman she knew as Mocha: There was once a mysterious isle. On that island lived a village, and within that village a woman, Jasmine, and a man, Aslan. They disappeared into a tunnel, and came out on the western shore of their isle, where a tribe of children awaited their care. The couple was deeply in love and had many children of their own. They even lived long enough to see their first great-grandchild. TheDreamer was so moved by this story that she named Jasmynn for Jasmine. Jasmynn would have loved to meet the remarkable woman she is named for, but unfortunately Jasmine died long ago. So Jasmynn spreads her legacy through love.
