Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fromyek is a tad bit playful and loves to fly, but not in the sense that most would expect. He loves to inflate himself as much as he can, then breathe out quickly, sending him twirling about the sky in random patterns. Many children delight in watching his "air shows", often bringing gifts as thanks for the entertainment. Some adults have even paid him to show up for their kids' birthday parties. However, this attitude is not as shared among his scaled brethren. While a few other dragons do enjoy his antics, a very large number are extremely annoyed by his "blatant showing off" (especially the occasional ones that he crashes into unexpectedly during his "bursts"). He has yet to anger one to the point of violence, but it is far from rare that he receives the threat of some dragon promising to "do more than knock the wind out of" him.
