Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Izlanagi is very independent. She only lands for being fed or perhaps breed. She believes that Skywings as herself are way superior than all other dragon species and loves to swoop down on them to give them an pinch if they are not prepared. She knows very well that they got no chance on catching up with her since she flies more than twice as fast than they do. Her favourite time of the day is night-time, roaming the sky in moonlight making an odd, echoing sound that always make ones eyes wet when you hear it. Sometimes you get to ride her as she does it. She usually set her sight on a star and then she just holds that direction for hours before turning back to the cave.

She does not really like the sunlight and spend most of the days just sleeping in the cave.
