Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A rather clumsy and anxious individual of his breed, Gomens is quite obsessive when it comes to alphabetization. Finding joy in the ordering of letters, he's been known to plod right into other's libraries and put them all to sort for free; moving books and tomes with considerable grace for a beast without fingers (not to mention while wearing gloves--can't have any goo getting on the precious things!), his excited squeals mark just about the only time he's too happy for stuttering. Of course, not all is fun and organization; he often wails to his mate Brinzat, who went from being his childhood sweetheart to being his affectionate wife, that really she should have been the boy and he the lady to ensure their ancestor's names were alphabetically arranged on the family tree. She often rolls her eyes at this and throws him in the nearby lake.
